A collaboration with studio BV, the 283 unit luxury apartment town in Northeast Minneapolis reflects the identity of the community in which it resides. A major emphasis on the local art community was leveraged to ensure that each space felt as though it belonged not only to the tower but in the community.

Rafter takes it name from the group of wild turkeys that call Northeast home. The building itself reflects that nature of Northeast with an emphasis on raw materials throughout. The 7th level clubroom and amenity deck gather sweeping vistas of downtown as a backdrop. Adjacent workspace and fitness area take advantage of their lofty heights with walls of glass showcasing the views from Northeast. The first floor maker space sits next to a small outdoor garden at the ground level with the commercial space framing up the open space directly adjacent to Northeast staple, Surdyks.
